Raining Again Remix I DV

This project involved the digital release of four remixes of the classic electronic track Raining Again by a prominent German label. The central challenge extended beyond visual aesthetics; it required crafting a cohesive and immersive digital product experience that resonated with both collectors and modern listeners. Released as a Digital Vinyl, a unique collectible format, the design drew inspiration from the natural motifs of water and raindrops, thematically aligning with the track's essence.

The design process incorporated image instancing techniques to create individualized ripple effects across each album cover, ensuring that each remix had a distinct visual identity while maintaining thematic consistency. Accompanying the cover art, an Audio Wheel graphic was developed to simulate the tactile qualities of traditional vinyl, bridging the gap between the physical and digital realms. The result was a seamless integration of auditory and visual elements, enriching the user’s sensory experience and reimagining vinyl in the context of digital music distribution.

This project reflects a thoughtful engagement with both design and technology, pushing the boundaries of digital collectibles while remaining rooted in the aesthetic and conceptual integrity of the music itself.
