Birth, Memories & Algorithms, a generative exhibition that examines the interplay of memory, identity, and algorithmic processes through digital reinterpretations of personal and cultural artifacts.
Using 3D scans of spaces from a recent return to India, alongside cherished objects from home—including childhood keepsakes and Hindu idols—the exhibition explores how memory is preserved, fragmented, and reshaped in the digital realm. The transformation of these artifacts into algorithmically generated forms raises questions about the boundaries between the sacred and the virtual, permanence and impermanence. The distortions introduced by the scanning process echo the selective nature of memory, revealing the evolving relationship between human experience and technology.
