The project explores the potential to perceive the invisible multi-substance of data that permeates our world by collecting data from the Twitter API in real-time and investigating how data from a place can reflect and define its urban narrative, in this case, Berlin.
Anti-Spatial is an immersive installation that creatively utilizes data to construct urban narratives. This artwork blends three datasets - Geo-Spatial, Weather, and Images, to offer visitors a journey through a computer-generated, three-dimensional representation of Flughafen Tempelhof. Real-time data, including Temperature, Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Solar Radiation, Precipitation, and Heatmap, continuously shapes this virtual cityscape. Furthermore, the project employs a dataset of images influenced by site-specific text prompts, modifying RGB values and adding a captivating visual layer to this multifaceted data-driven experience.
